    2015 Week 5 Preview Empty 2015 Week 5 Preview

Post by DrMjrKoval Sun Oct 11, 2015 9:33 am

Each Week I’m going to pick 5 games to highlight and preview some quick hits for Fantasy Football

    Was v Atl

Davonta Freeman is the top running back in Fantasy right now in part to 2 huge games from him. Can he continue with this production? I don't see why not. The only 2 things working against him this week is the return of Tevin Coleman and a pretty good Washington Run Defense. If he can overcome those obstacles he will have another big day.

    Sea v Cin

This week we get the battle of the Red Hot Andy Dalton vs one of the leagues best defenses. The biggest problem Seattle will have with Cincinnati is on the offensive side. Without Marshawn Lynch this week Russell Wilson will have to step up. If he can get in a groove with their mostly toothless offense they should be able to handle Andy Dalton.

    StL v GB

No defense has been able to stop Aaron Rodgers this year. Surprisingly Green Bays Defense is better than Saint Louis'. This is a start for all Green Bay. Rodgers, Lacy, Jones, Cobb, and even if you need him TE Rodgers. The Offense for Saint Louis has been a pretty big mess this year but with Gurley's coming out party last week he is at least a flex play this week if not a RB2.

    Jax v TB

Both these Offenses have been abysmal this year. The reason I bring this matchup up is the return of and debut of Julius Thomas for Jacksonville. He could be the missing piece to help open that Offense up. His presence could push the numbers of everyone else on the team up like TJ Yeldon and even Blake Bortles in those Dynasty leagues.

    Pit v SD

Without Big Ben Pittsburgh will struggle against the San Diego offense. The Steelers have really felt the loss of Polamalu this season. Philip Rivers has been decent this season and with Pittsburgh starting Michael Vick he should get plenty of chances to rack up some points. In Dynasty leagues Melvin Gordon continues to develop as does Ladarius Green but if you don't have any better options Green could be your TE.

2015 Week 5 Preview Empty Week 5 2015 Sunday Monday

    Post by PraiseOdin821 Wed Oct 14, 2015 4:06 pm

    Early Sunday games
-Sea Rawls and his 169 and a TD is for real. Hope if you are in a dynasty you picked him up as he will be the heir to the RB spot.
-Cin pulls one out. Jeremy Hill is some what troubling. He was drafted to high to let go but don't feel like he is a comfortable start.
-GB Def is outstanding. James Jones only had 2 catches but he made them count. He continues to be reliable even getting limited targets.
-StL hopefully you were patient with Gurley as he had 30 carries for 159 yds.
-Phi Murray back in form with 120 total yds. Phi had the advantage of playing the NO Def this wee so it will be seen if they can continue scoring.
-Bal Aiken has about 78 yds for 2nd week and looks to be their go to receiver with Steve Smith out. Forsett has 120+ yds. Forsett is said to have an ankle injury so if you're playing him make sure to check the practice time for the week.
-Cle Barnidge is making people pick him up with his second big week. If you want him on your team this week is probably you're last chance to grab him. He can be the new Jordan Cameron.
-Chi Forte getting tons of work as one of few offensive weapons
-KC whats worse? Losing Charles or the shame of losing to Chi when you are up 11 with 3:11 left. Major networks say West is the pickup over Davis.
-Jax Allen Robinson is a must have. Julies Thomas is back from injury and should prove to be a good weapon for them.
-TB Doug Martin with 158 total yards and 3 TDs. I get that it was against Jax but you still have to go with a guy getting that heavy of a work load.
-Atl Jacob Tamme comes out with 94 yard. Freeman is still outstanding and was not affected by the return of Coleman.
-Ten when a teams QB is the leading rusher yo have got some issues.
-Buf Tyrod Taylor was also his teams leading rusher but did not come out of this week healthy. This Buf Ten game was terrible

    Afternoon
-Dal fun stat was put up that Weedan had the highest completion % in the NFL. I add in that he also has the lowest win %
-NE Dion Lewis has incredible moves and is proving why Belichek is sticking with him. Gronk is Gronk
-Ari Johnson and Johnson at RB are both proving to be worth owning
-Det the team is in termoil as seen with Stafford being benched.
-Den All Def. They need a good 3rd WR or TE to make this passing game go.
-Oak on 4th and 19 at end of game they threw a 3 yard pass to the flat. Felt like a give up.

    SNF
-Beckham seems like he is wideopen and then gets a ton of YAC.
    -SF

    MNF
    -Pit #Balls
-SD Not sure what becomes of Ladareus Green with Gates coming back and being outstanding.
